#UpAtThePent

Last 19th of April, I was lucky enough to be part of an intimate dining experience at The Penthouse wherein few VIPs and just few bloggers were invited. It was also the same day that Berry Bro’s and Rudd launched their products in partnership with The Penthouse 8747.

“Berry Bro’s and Rudd is Britain’s oldest wine and spirit merchant, having traded from the same shop since 1698. Today, the company also has offices in Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong, a Wine School and an exclusive fine dining venue in London’s St. James’s.”

We are welcome by a sparkling drink served by and follow by the dinner, which started at exactly 7pm wherein the guest gathered at The Penthouse boardroom which can be rented for any events like Christmas Party, Birthday Party and even Bridal showers or even a stag party (FYI, no CCTV’s installed inside The boardroom :P) for php50,000 and it’s all consumable for 30 guests max. As mentioned, you’ll have the chance to create your own menu and just coordinate with the head chef and they’ll be in charge with even the buying of ingredients.

For dessert: Dark Chocolate Cheese Cake Pistachio mixed with Berrys’ Own Selection Miltonduff, 7-years old, 2009

I am really not a fan of wine, as I’d prefer a beer over wine, but being able to try all these wines that was originally chosen by the royal families before it was launched in public was a one of a kind experience and I would like to thank TheFoodFlings.Ph and The Penthouse 8747 for letting me part of it! 🙂
